Overview

Saudi Arabia is opening its doors to the world through its new tourist visa. Through our fast and easy-to-use online portal, international visitors from eligible countries can apply for a eVisa to Saudi Arabia and discover the warm hospitality of Saudi people: our rich heritage, vibrant culture, and diverse and breathtaking landscapes, from the mountains of Abha to the beaches of the Red Sea to the shifting sands of the Empty Quarter.

You Can

 The visit visa only allows you to partake in tourism-related activities, and perform Umrah. It excludes all other activities, e.g. working and studying.

 It is possible to apply for Umrah visa online. Bear in mind that Umrah cannot be performed during Hajj season. To perform Hajj, you must apply for a specific visa with the Ministry of Hajj. Unaccompanied females are allowed to perform Umrah using the visit visa, and do not need a male relative to do so.

 Only Muslims are allowed to visit the city of Makkah.

Things to note

 The tourist visa allows you to stay for up to 3 months per entry, spending not more than 180 days/year in Saudi Arabia. If you leave the country past your visa period, you shall pay a penalty of SAR 100 per day.

 The Saudi Arabia tourist visa is valid for one year with multiple entries.

 The visit visa may not be extended. In order to continue to visit KSA as a tourist, it is necessary to leave the country and apply for a new visit visa.

 You need to wait for your visa to expire and re-apply for a new visa.

Requirements

 You must be 18 years old or above. For travellers below 18 years old, a person over 18 years old must be your guardian when applying for the visa. Religion is not relevant when applying for the visit visa to Saudi Arabia.

 Passport from one of the 49 eligible countries and passport that is valid for at least 6 months, except for citizens of USA, for whom an extended validity of 6 months after passport expiry is permissible for the application.

 You will not need to show a hard copy of your visa, as your visa will be electronically connected to our system. However, we recommend that you keep eVisa in your mobile device.

 There are no restrictions on women visiting Saudi Arabia as solo travelers.
